Underwater cameraman Ken O’Sullivan explores the open North Atlantic ocean from his home shores in Ireland, searching for large whales and sharks and trying to understand the ocean eco-system, and how these animals are faring.

A reflective, insightful narrative features behavioural scenes bringing the viewer into the actual moment of discovery of marine creatures. Ken pays homage to his family and ancestors who lived as fishermen on a tiny island to the west of Ireland for two hundred and fifty years.
Conservation runs through all story threads while paying homage to our ancient spirit of exploration.
